Flow Communications offers a wide range of content services, including journalistic research, reporting, writing, event coverage, social media (content planning and implementation), editing, proofreading and content marketing.

Flow’s very first job was producing all the written content and doing the picture research for exhibitions at Maropeng, the official visitors’ centre of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in Gauteng, South Africa, and its sister museum at the nearby Sterkfontein Caves. We researched and wrote about 80 000 words in eight months for these award-winning attractions. (More than 10 years later, Maropeng is still our client: Flow runs the attraction’s website and social media activities.)

Many of our staff have qualifications in journalism and have worked as senior journalists and/​or editors for a wide range of publications, including newspapers, magazines and news websites, bringing a depth of experience.

We write on a wide range of subjects, including business, financial services, tourism, palaeoanthropology, education, health, sport, corporate social investment, technology and government.

We seek to produce fresh, interesting and memorable copy, whether it be for a magazine feature, a blog, a social network update or metre-high text for an exhibition wall.

We have had many successes in content marketing, particularly in growing our clients’ website traffic through organic reach, often many times over.

We’ve also won a number of awards for content and content marketing.
