Writing has always been my passion, so when I was given the opportunity to be an intern at Flow Communications, my heart did the tango.
Flow is a company filled with lively individuals who work together like a house on fire, and everything they produce is amazingly explosive (think… synergy). They’re the kind of people you look forward to seeing at 08h00 in the morning.
Always smiling, even through coughs and sniffles, from day one the Flow team welcomed me with open arms.
The two weeks I spent under the guiding wings of Flow have been nothing short of amazing. A lot of people tire of sitting behind a desk day in and day out, doing the same thing. I, on the other hand, am happiest sitting for hours at a desk doing what I adore – writing.
The experience that I have gained at Flow will stay forever embedded in my memory (and on my resume). Who would’ve thought I’d ever get to write blogs and short news pieces for the Gauteng Tourism Authority?
Thank you to everyone at Flow for being so kind, cheerful, hospitable and all things amazing.
I do hope this is just goodbye for now. I’ve always known what I want to be when I graduate, now I also know where.
