Flow Communications

Staff at The Happy Snappy Photo Company are usually the ones behind the camera lens. Recently, they found themselves in front of it, as Flow Communications put together a new promotional video and website to showcase the work Happy Snappy does:

Thanks to Flow's association with some of Happy Snappy's clients (like the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway and uShaka Marine World), it approached us to redesign its website, and help market its business to others.

"Our brief was to create very simple and clear communication about what Happy Snappy can add to your business," says Flow designer Ryan Levenson. "Right from the start we decided to focus the design around high-quality photography, and commissioned images to get exactly the feel we needed.

"We let the photography be the hero by partnering it with sleek, minimal design. The end result is an easy-to-browse, visually rich brochure site for the Happy Snappy team to market its services."

The new site is geared as a business-to-business marketing tool for Happy Snappy, which is keen on expanding to other tourist attractions in South Africa and beyond. To this end, the website includes a case studies section highlighting the ways in which its current partners have benefited from Happy Snappy's presence at their sites.

The company is also proud of its employee empowerment strategy and places emphasis on quality training and skills development. It is always actively looking for friendly, outgoing people to work with it, and the website also addresses this need.

"I have been delighted with the comments on our new website! Flow communications really listened to our requirements and managed to digest and implement our vision with great accuracy, leaving us with a site that we can really be proud of," says Barry Cooper, Happy Snappy CEO.

James Cussen, Happy Snappy owner, adds: "Flow Communications was a pleasure to work with, developing a partnership for a digital strategy, rather than just providing us with a website. We look forward to a continued journey with Flow to develop our online presence in the future."

Flow Cape Town manager Kate Rau says: "We are thrilled to have Happy Snappy as a client. The work it does is innovative and fun – and sincerely contributes to the visitor experience (and revenue) of top tourism attractions in both Cape Town and Johannesburg."

Flow will continue to work with Happy Snappy into 2016 as we develop its e-newsletter and social media strategy.
