The digital rebranding of the Zambezi Voyager, a luxury houseboat that plies the wild waterways of the Chobe and Zambezi confluence, was completed on 10 October.
Once known as the Nguni Voyager, its owner Rod Hering decided to change the name of the houseboat to something better suited to its natural habitat.
“The renaming of the Nguni Voyager is part of a drive to situate the houseboat firmly within its natural surroundings,” says Rod. “The name now speaks to the area and also to the local population, who derive their livelihoods, and indeed their identity, from the rivers in the area.”
Flow assisted with the digital rebranding, which included building a new-look website to complement the awe-inspiring experience visitors have aboard the Zambezi Voyager as it cruises the floodplains.
“Rod is a great photographer, and provided us with some beautiful pictures for the website,” says project manager and site editor Stuart Dickinson. “We wanted to let these images do the talking, so we gave them preference throughout the site, incorporating galleries on many of the pages.”
The Zambezi Voyager holds five en-suite cabins, a lounge and dining area, and an upper deck that affords panoramic views of this riverine environment. Every possible activity is catered for, from fishing to wildlife and bird watching, to stargazing and cultural excursions.
Each cabin has its own dedicated river guide and tender boat, providing its guests with the privacy and flexibility to create their own itinerary.
Check out Zambezi Voyager on Facebook and Twitter, and you can also visit their stand at the Photo & Film Expo at the Coca-Cola Dome in Joburg from 31 October to 3 November 2013.
Stop by, marvel at the photographs of the houseboat and the area, and chat to the owners, who will be happy to supply you with all the information you need to secure your spot on the pre-eminent luxury floating safari.
