The Operation Khanyisa Facebook competition has been making many fans happy

Three years ago, Operation Khanyisa, a national partnership campaign that promotes the legal, safe and efficient use of electricity, was launched. Late last year, in an effort to raise even more awareness around the issue of electricity theft, Operation Khanyisa launched a Facebook competition that has made winners of many fans.

The competition started on 5 December 2012 and runs until 31 January 2013. Every day for the past five weeks, Operation Khanyisa fans have had the chance to win great prizes such as branded caps, T-shirts, bags and even airtime vouchers.

The competition has been a great success, with over 30 winners so far.

Michael James, who’s already won three prizes, including an Operation Khanyisa weekly hamper, says: “Thank you, I have enjoyed the competition. Very informative.”

In addition to the Facebook competion, Operation Khanyisa also handed out 300 000 goodie bags at five tollgates over the festive season last year.

Says recipient Chantelle van Zyl: “Thanks for the awesome Operation Khanyisa goodie bag we got at the tollgate. Very informative and lots of activities inside smile

To stand a chance to win before the competition closes, simply like the Operation Khanyisa Facebook page, look out for the daily clues and correctly answer the multiple choice question each day. And, if you share posts with your friends, you stand a chance of winning the weekly hamper every Friday.
