Flow Communications

Kruger Lowveld Tourism has appointed Flow Communications to develop its new website and assist with its e-marketing and social media platforms.

“We received a number of high-quality proposals from extremely reputable companies,” said Lisa Sheard, chairperson of Kruger Lowveld Tourism, “but we liked Flow’s approach, and we are looking forward to working with them to develop an online presence that is as unique and attractive as our glorious region.”

Kruger Lowveld Tourism is a regional tourism organisation (RTO) with approximately 400 members that promotes tourism and travel in the Kruger Lowveld area, which includes the Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third largest canyon.

Flow has an excellent track record in destination marketing. Tourism clients include South African Tourism (www.southafrica.net), Maropeng in Gauteng (www.maropeng.co.za), the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (www.tablemountain.net) and the Two Oceans Aquarium (www.aquarium.co.za) in Cape Town, the Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway (www.hartiescableway.com) in the North West province, and uShaka Seaworld (www.seaworld.org.za) in Durban. The company also has other notable clients outside of tourism, including the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory (www.nelsonmandela.org).

“The Kruger Lowveld website and digital presence is a very exciting project for us,” said Tara Turkington, CEO of Flow Communications. “It means we get to work with one of the best tourism marketing organisations in the country and it’s also our first major client in Mpumalanga.

“Can there be better work than attracting more people to this iconic part of our beautiful country?” she added.
