Flow Communications receptionist John Kazembe welcomed his pride and joy – a baby boy named Emmanuel Maxwell Kambanji Kazembe – into the world on Christmas Day.
John, who’s been with Flow Communications since March 2009, says the name Kambanji comes from his Lunda language of Zambia, and means “messenger”. John says his grandfather was a messenger in a palace, who used to pass news to the villagers.
Maxwell was John’s late father’s name and since his son was born a few minutes past midday on Christmas Day, John decided to also name him Emmanuel, which means “God is with us”.
“Being a father is such an interesting experience. You move from being a boy to man, and it’s certainly a new kind of lifestyle,” says John of his son.
“It gets a little stressful when he cries and we don’t know what to do, but I’m loving every minute of it,” concludes John.
Flow is so proud to welcome John’s baby into the family.
