Recently, Flowstars Zintle Mtyeku and Mildred Thabane were tasked with filming Etana Insurance’s win at the FIA (Financial Intermediary Association of Southern Africa) Awards at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Etana Insurance was named Short-Term Corporate Insurer of Year.
The FIA Awards are a highlight on the financial events calendar and more than 1000 industry stakeholders were at the event to celebrate the financial professionals in the insurance industry who help the FIA trade profitably.
On the night there was much suspense as the Etana team waited hopefully to pocket their first award at the FIAs in the company’s short four-year history.
Head of Corporate at Etana, Andre van der Merwe, said after winning the award: “We are thrilled and want to build on what we’ve done. It’s a good moment for Etana, our brokers and clients, and we are going to try to go bigger and bigger, and, next year, with their support, win all three [awards – corporate, commercial and personal lines] in this category.”
Flow’s MD Tiffany Turkington says, “We are so proud of Etana so quickly realising their vision of becoming the number one corporate business insurer. We know that Etana will continue to go from strength to strength and we are honoured to be associated with them.”
