Flow Communications’ Flickr account has attracted more than 3.5-million views since it was first created over 10 years ago.
Almost 15 000 photos have been uploaded to the account, most of them taken by Flow’s CEO, Tara Turkington. Flickr is a popular service for storing and displaying photographs, and is now home to billions of images from around the world.
All the photos are licensed Creative Commons pictures, and are free to use with attribution. Creative Commons is an open-source licensing movement, which allows owners of copyrighted materials such as photographs to cede their copyright ownership under certain conditions (such as asking anyone who uses the pictures to attribute them to the original source).
All the photos are available for free download in different sizes.
There are dozens of albums on our account, from countries as diverse as South Africa, India, Zambia, the Maldives, Kenya, China, Russia and Morocco.
Flow’s photos have been used across the world on websites, by museums and in brochures, apps, maps, annual reports and other marketing and communications materials.
Below are some of the more popular images on the account, which have all attracted thousands of individual views on Flickr. Feel free to visit Flow on Flickr and to use any images you would like to.
