We started our weekend with a bang at Flow, on Friday, March 12, by hosting a party for all our clients, just to say thanks for all their support.
It was a fun-filled evening, with clients and Flow staff learning to do the diski dance. The dance instructor was junior project manager, Zintle Mtyeku. Her assistants included junior project manager, Palesa Motau, and journalist, Miliswa Sitshwele. The more enthusiastic learners got the dance steps in a few minutes and soon the whole dance floor was diski-ing in unison. Life and business coach, Kristen Carter, couldn’t wait to show off her diski skills to her kids.
The mini football pitch got the Flow staff really excited with designers, writers and programmers demonstrating their football skills. Bafana Bafana coach, Carlos Alberto Pereira, should have been invited to the party, just in case he wanted to make adjustments to the national squad.
The foosball table held pride of place, with Bheki Shongwe, Flow’s chairman, showing the youngsters a thing or two.
There was plenty of eating, drinking, singing and dancing.
CEO, Tara Turkington, and MD, Tiffany Turkington-Palmer, delivered a speech, waxing nostalgic about Flow’s early days, including how some of our longstanding clients, such as Maropeng, became part of the Flow family.
Thank you to Flow’s party-planning committee, comprising Zintle, project manager, Roshni Nana, and financial manager, Bev Strimer, for doing such a wonderful job. It was a wonderful evening that demonstrated a deep appreciation for the Flow family and its clients.
