We recently were given the opportunity of giving the HIVSA website a fresh, new look.
HIVSA was established in 2002 and is a non-profit organisation that offers comprehensive and therapeutic care to individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
“The idea behind this site was to make it very simple and user-friendly,” says Flow’s project manager Roshni Nana.
The site was built with ExpressionEngine, a leading content management system in which Flow specialises.
HIVSA is Flow developer Klaus Alusa’s first website and he was impressed with ExpressionEngine’s ease of use. “It was quite challenging at first, trying to get familiar with ExpressionEngine, but with time it turned out to be quite easy.
“ExpressionEngine is a great content management system to work with compared to others out there. Its ability to manage large amounts of data and traffic, and its flexibility, make it ideal for web development.”
Roshni concludes, “It’s an honour to work with such a hands-on company that’s doing great work for the HIV/AIDS community.”
