Flow Communications recently launched the revamped campaign site for South African entrant into the New7Wonders of Nature, Table Mountain!

The new Vote for Table Mountain in the new7wonders of nature campaign website

The New7Wonders of Nature, a competition run to help raise awareness around the conservation of natural sites, is determined by global public vote, and our mountain is the only South African entry shortlisted for a spot, along with 27 other natural sites around the globe including the Amazon and the Grand Canyon.

Cape Town’s beloved landmark stands a good chance of reaching the final seven, to be announced on November 11, 2011, but only if South Africa exercises its democratic right and votes: We are currently in the bottom half of the rankings, and need to pull up our suffrage socks!

The revamped site – www.votefortablemountain.com – with its fresh look and feel guides you through the voting process and includes downloadable applications, wallpaper and social media feeds, all in a bid to encourage the public to vote and to raise global awareness – so that, come November, we might be in that magical number of seven. South Africa’s tourism industry and wider economy stand to benefit, and we could all do with knowing more about our natural heritage and how and why to conserve it. These are just two more reasons why the likes of Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, Cape Town Tourism, South Africa Tourism and South African National Parks continue to lend incredible support to the campaign.

Go to the website, Twitter feed, Facebook or Flickr group for more, and otherwise contact Campaign Manager Fiona Furey at n7w@tablemountain.net to find out how you can become a campaign activist or ambassador.
