For those watching the Gauteng Sports Awards at home on June 23, 2011 and being subjected to television ads, here’s the scoop on what the audience members experienced on the night.
Before the awards went into full swing, celebrities had their pictures taken and interviews were conducted. I managed to coax some celebrities into posing for me.

Actresses Busi Lurayi (plays Winnie Molepo on South African drama series Sokhulu and Partners) and Winnie Ntshaba (plays Khethiwe Buthelezi on popular soapie, Generations)
Comedian, Mongezi Ngcobondwane, had the audience in stitches as the act between awards.
Singer KB performed her hit song Rock Lefatshe.
