Flow Communications is proud to announce that it has built and launched two new websites this week.
These are the Origins Centre and Civic Automation Systems.
Earlier this year Flow was contracted by the Origins Centre to design a website that was smart, informative and easy to navigate.
In true Flow style, designers, programmers and writers came together and brainstormed how they could give the Origins Centre a website they could be proud of.
The Origins Centre is a classy boutique museum that is based in Braamfontein on the University of the Witwatersrand campus.
It is the world’s only museum dedicated to exploring and celebrating the history of modern humankind, and tells the story of the emergence of human beings and humanity in southern Africa.
Within three weeks the writing studio had reworked content from the old site, generated fresh content and edited material for the new website. It was a great team effort that saw a world-class site being presented to a very happy client.
Civic Automation Systems (CAS) is the largest home automation solutions company in southern Africa and is also an accredited supplier and installer of many of the world’s leading automation products.
CAS clients are wealthy, discerning consumers who demand perfection. In order to write the site copy, we had to get inside these potential clients’ heads, imagining what they would want from their automation service provider. The result is a clean, uncluttered site, providing clients with ample opportunity to contact Civic to discuss their home automation needs.
The site also includes Flash videos showing prospective CAS clients the almost-limitless home automation possibilities, as well as providing case studies showing CAS’ past projects.
Clients are invited to browse the site through the top menu bar, or by clicking through from the front page slide-show. Both navigation options allow browsers to navigate all products and services CAS provides easily and intuitively.
The Why Automate pages form the “heart” of the site, succinctly describing the various home automation solutions available to CAS clients.
