Flow was recently tasked with creating the Housing Development Agency‘s (HDA) annual report and website, a challenge that we welcomed – and enjoyed working on.
The HDA is responsible for acquiring, managing and releasing land for human settlement, and for providing support to municipal and provincial bodies to deliver on such settlements.
The HDA wanted a simple approach to its annual report, with a white background and bold colours that replicated its branding.
In designing the report, Flow Graphic Designer George Xafis drew on the design and layout of the website Flow had created for the HDA.
“The HDA annual report was the first annual report I worked on at Flow. It was challenging to get financials into a visually aesthetic design, at the same time keeping it simple, readable and fresh,” says George. “The patience from our project manager, Roshni Nana, bold colours and strong sans serif font and a solid grid structure made the HDA annual report an enjoyable project to work on.”
