There is a pool in the garden on which an inflatable bar floats. There are bunnies hopping around the lawn and a foosball table under the gazebo. There is a long table in the sunshine with comfortable cushions and shady umbrellas.
Some Alice in Wonderland-inspired dream, you’re thinking? Nope – this is the Flow office.
One of the things I like most about working at Flow is the culture. There are not many companies, for example, who will adopt a family of bunnies who happen to show up in the garden one day, thoughtfully choosing names for them (Heff, Holly and Evel Knievel) and checking on their progress daily.
The corridors regularly reverberate with shrieks of laughter. Lunch can be a noisy affair. Monthly staff meetings have been known to dissolve in hysterics. It is the kind of place where people stay after work to have a few drinks because they genuinely enjoy the company of their colleagues.
It’s not that we don’t work hard – believe me! We’ve been known to build an entire website in one night. It’s not at all unusual to find people burning the midnight oil at the office. But when you work with people who make work fun, it’s a whole lot easier to get out of bed in the morning.
Plus we have a pool. And a floating bar – did I mention that?
