Flow Communications

Flow Communications’ most recent cause for celebration is its success at the 2025 SABRE Awards Africa.

The agency was recognised as a winner in the Industry Sectors – Associations category at an event held in Mombasa, Kenya on 12 June 2025.

Flow wins in Industry Sectors category
Flow was recognised at the 2025 SABRE Awards Africa for the work we did on the Marine Protected Areas Day 2024 campaign.

The award honours Flow’s work, in partnership with the MPA Alliance, on the Marine Protected Areas (MPA) Day 2024 campaign. The campaign was praised for its impact on advocacy for ocean protection and public awareness around marine biodiversity.

Expressing pride in Flow’s work on (and measurable impact in) this campaign, Flow CEO Tara Turkington says, “We are grateful to the SABRE Awards for this recognition, and are immensely proud of our team, who show up every day to do work that inspires change.

“Of course, none of this would be possible without the confidence of partners such as the MPA Alliance. It’s been an honour to be part of this amazing initiative, which started as a small local campaign to celebrate and protect marine protected areas in 2021, and is now truly global.”

Flow made its debut at the SABRE Awards Africa in 2024, when we won a gold award (in the digital campaigns category) for MPA Day 2023. These back-to-back wins cement our status as one of Africa’s leading communications agencies.
