Flow Communications

At Flow, we like to win – but we also know it’s not just about winning. As Pat Summitt, known as the “winningest” coach in American college basketball, has said, “Winning is fun … Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you’ve done is the point.”

And that’s why we’re celebrating extra hard. For the second year in a row, we’ve won the Africa Global Funds (AGF) Best Marketing & Communications Consultancy award!

AGF, a news coverage and analysis platform that reports exclusively on the African asset management industry, announced its Service Providers Awards 2020 on 29 October. These are the only international awards for businesses that offer services for African funds, providing industry and public recognition of their outstanding effort, work and accomplishments.

They are not awarded for any specific piece of work, but rather for overall excellence and, to quote AGF CEO Anna Lyudvig, “It wasn’t easy to choose the winners this year as judges had to take into account how companies adapted to our new reality in the Covid era.”

We’re proud of how we’re weathering this storm, and even prouder that it’s been recognised by an international award. We like the company we keep.

Says Flow CEO Tara Turkington, “I couldn’t be prouder of our Flow family, who have gone from strength to strength. Winning this award for the second year in a row cements our reputation as an integral part of any company’s communications mix – we’re grateful to our team and our clients and look forward to continuing on this winning streak.”

Managing director Tiffany Turkington adds, “Being shortlisted was an honour – winning for the second time in a row is unbelievable.”
