Can you believe that 490 Fridays have come and gone ever since Flow first started nine years ago? And yet we never ever get tired of good ol’ Fridays.
It’s the same thing every single week: blue Mondays that are loaded with coffee, emails and work that accumulated over the weekend.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are slightly more bearable, bringing us closer to the beloved weekend.
Thursday is five-to the weekend and it could come any sooner. Thursday has also been nicknamed “Phuza Thursday” by Gareth Cliff. “Phuza” is the Zulu word for drink.
And then it’s Friday, precious Friday. After four gruelling days, you finally grace us with your presence.
Apart from shouts of “TGIF” from all directions, nothing sets the mood for Friday and the weekend like great music.
We at Flow LOVE our music. From ABBA to Beyonce, we play it all.
On a good day you’ll hear some old-school tunes pumping in the developers’ studio, and when things get a little bit hectic the writers calm their nerves with a disco moment.
