Flow Communications

Flow Communications is thrilled to announce that it has retained its level 1 broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) rating for 2023.

“This is wonderful news,” says Flow’s CEO, Tara Turkington. “Transformation, diversity and inclusion are a priority at Flow Communications, and our B-BBEE rating matters to us. Our clients will continue to benefit from this rating; we look forward to working with them and with new clients in the coming year.”

Bheki Shongwe, chairman of Flow Communications, says, “Flow is a South African company with a firm finger on the pulse of the country. We are committed to honouring transformation in South Africa, and our continued rating as a level 1 B-BBEE contributor reflects this.”

Tiffany Turkington-Palmer, managing director of Flow Communications, says, “We have a remarkable remote-working team, scattered across South Africa, and we could not have retained our level 1 B-BBEE certificate without them.

“Our team is made up of people from varying backgrounds. They reflect South Africa’s beautiful mixture of cultures, races, genders, faiths and generations. This diversity can be seen in the purpose-driven work we produce for our clients.”

Flow is 28% black-owned and 67% women-owned. About 70% of Flow’s staff are women, while the company’s management team is 80% female. The agency’s rating is as per the Marketing, Advertising and Communications Sector Code, and remains valid until December 2023.
