Flow bags 20 nominations in the 2021 New Generation Awards

A digital campaign to amplify the powerful 2020 Desmond Tutu Annual Peace Lecture. A campaign to support the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway’s comeback when it reopened last year. A radio campaign for the Foundation for Professional Development to encourage people living with HIV who had stopped taking their ARVs to get back on treatment.

These are just three of the meaningful campaigns that we’ve worked on over the past year that have propelled Flow to 20 New Generation Social and Digital Media Awards nominations in the upcoming Supersonic New Generation Awards, a hybrid event taking place on 23 September 2021.

The 20 nominations cover work done for no fewer than eight of our clients: the Gautrain Management Agency, the Shabbos Project, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company, the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, the South African Presidency, Maropeng, the Foundation for Professional Development and Heartlines.

“We are thrilled to be nominated in so many categories of the New Generation Awards,” said Flow managing director Tiffany Turkington-Palmer. “Being nominated for such a wide and diverse group of clients is testament to our long-term and valuable partnerships with so many purpose-driven clients.”

Flow’s nominations cover a broad range of areas, from content marketing and technical innovation to social media reach of an event and blog writing.

Flow’s director of content, Edwina van der Burg, says she’s thrilled. “I am blown away! We take real pride in the work we do every day, no matter the subject matter, and to have so many nominations for such a wide range of clients is proof of that.”

The head of public relations at Flow, Caroline Smith, says the recognition can be put down to having a remarkable team.

“I’m, as always, in awe of my colleagues. To pull off work of that quality, consistently, time and again, is what makes every day in their presence a joy,” she said.
