Flow has once again improved its BEE rating – this year we were awarded a Level 2 B-BBEE certificate, up from a Level 3 last year.
Flow was rated on its ownership, management, employment equity and corporate social investment (CSI).
Bookkeeper Nam Madokwe was integrally involved in the process, and was really happy with the outcome of the effort.
“The strong BEE accreditation benefits Flow, as clients make a point of working with suppliers with good BEE credentials such as us, which in turn improves their rating. The higher the rating the better, so right there is your competitive advantage,” says Nam.
Flow CEO Tara Turkington is also upbeat about the Level 2 B-BBEE certification, saying: “This excellent rating shows how committed we are to diversity of staff, management and ownership. We’re also committed to giving back in terms of our CSI, and especially in the field of education.”
Says Flow chairman Bheki Shongwe: “The attainment of a BEE Level 2 score for Flow during its last evaluation is a huge milestone in the company’s efforts to respond to the need for the country to be inclusive in the corporate sector. We are very proud that we are living the dream of our democracy.”
