Flowstars took to the fairways (and bunkers) of Jackal Creek Golf Estate on 26 September to take part in the 2013 SAB World of Beer Golf Day.
Chairman Bheki Shongwe, writer and media developer Stuart Dickinson and project manager Gianluca Tucci dusted off some golfing cobwebs and attempted to navigate the course without spending too much time in the rough.
And while this wasn’t always the case, the trio had a great time supporting one of Flow’s valuable clients during their annual event.
“We actually managed to hit some beautiful shots, which always helps,” says Stuart.
“Bheki suggested halfway through our round that we should log some business hours each week for ‘Flow golfing development’, which is a brilliant idea.”
Gianluca added: “It was an absolutely awesome experience to be involved in the World of Beer golf day. A lot of effort went into the event, and we were allowed to share and experience a fantastic South African brand. Stu playing with a pink golf ball also added to the day’s flavour!”
By the end of the day, they walked off the course smiling and joined the prizegiving ceremony, to swap war stories with the other participants.
“While representing Flow on the greens, I learnt that when the golfing gets tough, you just go(lf) with the FLOW!” says Bheki.
