Flow Communications

Last week, Flowstars Kevin Collins, Roy Barford and Tara Turkington joined our fabulous partners, Mariëtte du Toit-Helmbold and her company, Destinate, to participate in a destination-branding workshop and to start working on a new digital campaign for the Franschhoek Wine Valley.

In two short days and in between meetings, we managed to see and do lots, including squeezing in visits to Babylonstoren, Rickety Bridge and La Motte wine farms, taking loads of pictures, enjoying some fine wining and dining in South Africa’s gourmet capital, and producing a blog post suggesting 12 things to do in Franschhoek for South African Tourism. We can’t wait to do more work in this stunning area of South Africa!

Below are some of the pictures taken on our trip. You can also see a wider selection of photos taken in and around Franschhoek in a new Franschhoek album on Flow’s Flickr photostream.

Pierneef Gallery La Motte
La Motte is one of Franschhoek's most famous wine farms. A beautiful art gallery at La Motte houses an impressive collection of paintings by JH Pierneef, an icon of South African art, as well as a smaller gallery for modern, up-and-coming artists. (Image: Tara Turkington/flowcomm)
