Flow Communications

From veterans to new recruits, Flowstars, clients and friends alike rolled up their sleeves in Flow’s Dunkeld offices today for the February Flow blood drive.

Every two months the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) gives us an opportunity to do a good deed. With the sunshine, goodie bags for first-time donors, and cookies and juice as a congratulatory sugar boost, it made for a lovely day to help save a life.

Developer Klaus Alusa says he was “happy to receive the ‘No Chicken’ award” with his first-ever donation.

Just as happy was eight-time donor and writer, Kate “the Gr8” Rau. “The thought that one donation can save up to four people should encourage everyone to donate if they can. It’s a very positive thing,” she says.

“Imagine the lives we could all help save. It’s bloody marvellous,” agrees Colin Ford, head of the writing studio.

We look forward to seeing you at our next blood drive on April 5, 2013.
