Attractions Africa, a conference dedicated to attractions management in Southern Africa, will take place at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town, on June 4 and 5. Flow Communications is proud to be involved in promoting the conference, at which some of our clients will be key speakers.

The event, aimed at "everyone in the business of attracting, satisfying and retaining visitors," will be hosted by renowned travel writer and radio show host Kate Turkington, while the list of speakers includes Tony Rubin of Maropeng and Sabine Lehmann of the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.

Sabine, who is also the chair of the Attractions Africa organising committee, says:"What I've found so useful in my time as MD of the Cableway, is the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) conference that I go to every second year in Orlando in America. It's always amazing to me how fellow CEOs talk very directly and robustly about the issues that they have and case studies to solve their problems, and it feels like someone has read what's in my head what my problems are as an attractions manager and then created workshops for that. I've never really found this available in any conference in South Africa."

See the video below for insight into what will be discussed at Attractions Africa.

This is the last week for early bird registration, which is R3 000 per person. From Saturday, registration will cost R3 750 per person.
