Sarah Came (25) has received her master's in English studies from the University of Exeter in the UK, while Daphney Mngomeni (23) is collecting her BA degree in corporate communication at the University of Johannesburg next Monday.

The two are shy about their achievements, but the Flowstars are taking the news with ululation and pride.

Says Flow CEO Tara Turkington: “I’m deeply grateful to Sarah’s father for telling me the news this the morning, otherwise we wouldn’t have known she’s a master. This is a huge achievement.”

“I am so, so proud of Sarah and Daphney," adds writing studio manager Melanie Feris. “Great achievements. All the hard work's paid off. Well done!”

New Cape Town manager Kate Rau says: “How amazing to be so young and already have achieved a master’s.”

Although they might be shy about the high praises they received this afternoon, the two are quick to brag about each other.

Says Sarah about Daphney: “It is an astounding accomplishment to work and study successfully, and Daphney stayed cool, calm and collected throughout. She is smart, strong, dedicated and inspiring.”

About her own degree: “It was hard but it's good to have a master's.”

Cheers to the awesome ladies, Daphney and Sarah

“Right now I feel like Po from Kung Fu Panda and Sarah is Master Shifu, leading the way for me – a soon-to-be graduate. A master’s is a really big deal and I hope soon we'll be addressing her as Dr Sarah Came,” says Daphney about Sarah’s achievement.

“It's true what those who have done this before us say: ‘Once you get your bachelor's degree and experience your first graduation, you want to do it again and again’,” she added.
