The South African Heart Association is the sole organisation representing the professional interests of all cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons in the country.

“When SA Heart approached Flow Communications they wanted us to solve a few problems for them – make their existing site more attractive while keeping with the association’s personality, make their site clear and easily navigable, and they wanted they wanted a design that would reinforce their professional brand identity,” says Flow’s designer Lorraine Gumede.
“The old SA Heart site housed a lot important information but because of the way it was designed, a lot of it was hard to find,” says writer Mildred Thabane.
“The first thing we did was we went through the whole site and decided what information needed to be grouped together, and how we were going to present the information in such a way that it was attractive, not too cumbersome and easy to navigate,” continues Mildred.
The end result is a fresh, bright and attractive site that speaks to SA Heart’s corporate objectives.
“The site definitely has a cleaner layout now and I think it will appeal to the medical industry,” concludes Lorraine.
Operations officer at SA Heart Erika Dau says: “I love the new look and service. I feel our members will be better able to access information, find out about our events easily – we are really proud of the new site.”
