It’s hard to imagine what a woman can do after 20 years of interviewing church leaders and charlatans, philosophers and sages, saints and sinners, witches and wizards, astronomers and astrologers, and discussing over 1 000 other fascinating topics.
Kate Turkington, one of Flow Communications’ first clients, has said goodbye to her radio show on Talk Radio 702, Believe It or Not, after 20 years on air.
“I’m terribly sad but so deeply humbled by the tributes that poured in during my last show. I was surrounded by love throughout and I’ll miss the listeners,” says Kate.
Kate says her most memorable and favourite interviews were with Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Even though her show has ended, Kate says she’s excited about this new chapter in her life. “I’ll still be travelling and writing, and I’ll be a travel correspondent on Talk Radio 702 on Sunday mornings.
“I also have my Sunday evenings free now, which means I can spend more time with my family,” concludes Kate.
