Flow Communications

We received love, hugs and kisses from all our friends, clients and family yesterday, as we celebrated our 10th birthday.

From starting in a bedroom in CEO Tara Turkington’s home 10 years ago, to upgrading to offices in Oxford Road, and eventually to our swish new premises at 2 Rosebank Road, Dunkeld, we were eager to welcome our guests and celebrate how far Flow has come.

During the day, party planners Janet Berger and Maria Foundanellas, with some help from other Flowstars, set the scene for the evening’s celebration. True to Flow’s primary corporate colour, pink was everywhere – pink balloons, pink drinks, pink accessories in the party photo booth ...

Said Janet about the planning: “It was great to organise a party that worked out so well. There was a great turnout, with everyone seemingly really enjoying themselves. A typical Flow event. I loved the way people engaged with the infographic display (and the fact that it stayed in one piece despite hundreds of balls being thrown at it!).”

Apart from the engaging infographic, an impressive cheesecake was set up, as well as a sugar rush of treats and delicious food from the 5 Star Street Chef truck.

How yummy does this look?

Some long-standing clients also took to the mic to wish us well, including Nelson Mandela Foundation chief executive Sello Hatang and World of Beer general manager Tony Rubin, while social media was abuzz with birthday messages.

“Thank you to all the amazing Flowstars who have worked to make Flow what it is, and to our clients for believing in us and supporting us for all these years – we are deeply privileged to work with the people we do and on the work we do. I'm so looking forward to the next 10 years of pink fun, blood, sweat and tequila!” said Tara.
