Lafarge South Africa is one of South Africa’s largest cement producers, manufacturing and marketing cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregate products. From November 2015 to October 2016, Flow was contracted to provide Lafarge with the full scope of public relations services, including media engagement, and crisis and reputation management. Flow also provided media training to the company.

Among the media releases generated for Lafarge was coverage of the company making history by opening its first service centre in Orlando East, Soweto. The centre provides home builders on-site access to architects, contractors and financial consultants, while also stocking all building materials needed for a seamless building process.

By offering Lafarge-accredited training to local entrepreneurs in the construction and brick-making sectors, the centre fulfils Lafarge’s commitment to building better communities. Flow was proud to be able to help bring this message to the wider public.
