The Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) is an intergovernmental organisation providing a platform for peer learning and exchange for African ministries of finance and planning. The initiative’s vision is that public financial resources across Africa are managed with integrity, transparency and accountability for efficient service delivery, sustainable economic growth and development.

Flow is delighted to have worked on numerous CABRI projects since July 2015, starting with a communications workshop with its senior management team, resulting in recommendations for future brand and communications efforts.

We adjusted the CABRI logo, and designed and provided a corporate identity manual that included designs for marketing material, document templates and other applications.

Flow also developed the CABRI Hub, an online portal for CABRI members, other interested African countries and stakeholders. The site, constructed over an eight-month period and launched in May 2016, provides users with a place to gain insight into CABRI’s work, to access valuable resources and to share information.

With academics and learning institutions involved across all spheres of the organisation, this needed to be reflected on the site.

CABRI supplied the content, which was then edited by a senior Flow subeditor. We successfully imported all the content – in three languages – from carefully organised folders into the content management system and also took over hosting of the website at Flow was delighted to note that visits to the site increased 198% within less than a month of going live.
