The Daily Maverick, a South African media title, is respected for speaking truth to power. Its premier annual event is The Gathering, where leaders unpack the country’s challenges, and where the public can participate.
After Covid-19 forced a hiatus in 2020/21, The Gathering returned in 2022 – as a hybrid affair using Flow Communications’ Flow Pro eventing app alongside the live gathering. Truthfully, more people engaged in real time online than in the live audience.
It was so successful that for the May 2023 edition of The Gathering, the Earth Edition, the Daily Maverick wanted more.
