In 2015, 196 countries, including South Africa, signed the Paris Agreement, designed to limit the damage of climate change.

A European Union (EU) body – the Strategic Partnerships for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPIPA) – was formed to ensure the promises of the Paris Agreement were kept.

By 2021, fatigue and despondency were threatening South Africans’ ability to act.

Through the German Development Agency, SPIPA was asked to develop a campaign to inspire people to make a difference. They enlisted the help of Flow, and thus Climate 360 was born – a two-day online conference showcasing innovative projects fighting climate change.
