Remember Covid-19? When billions were vulnerable because their national health systems lacked life-saving vaccines?
This gap prompted the WHO and Medicines Patent Pool to launch the mRNA Technology Transfer Programme, building vaccine manufacturing capability in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Flow was proud to take this story of investment in life-saving medical technology and capability to the world. At its heart was a simple principle: where a person lives, and how wealthy their country is, should not determine their access to life-saving health technologies.
