In 1984, when famine struck Mozambique, one man packed food, water and other supplies into his bakkie and set off to give whatever help he could.
This life-changing experience prompted Peter Pretorius to start a nongovernmental organisation (NGO) – ForAfrika (previously Joint Aid Management).
Flow was tasked with raising awareness of the work ForAfrika does to ensure that African communities have the resources they need to thrive.
In just 10 months, Flow reached almost 80-million people via traditional media, while bolstering ForAfrika’s social media presence. Now, international news organisations are viewing ForAfrika as an authority on humanitarian efforts in Africa.
