21st Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture: awards entry video 2024
When Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai delivered the 21st Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture on 5 December 2023, Flow Communications (Flow) was there, helping the Nelson Mandela Foundation ensure that the hybrid event ran smoothly and was well-publicised.
Flow has helped the foundation present 16 of its 21 Nelson Mandela Annual Lectures.
The lecture was a resounding success. The event overshot all its goals, reaching 260.5-million people through traditional media (goal: more than 20-million) and 16-million via social media (goal: more than 10-million), and generating 335-million social media impressions (goal: more than 50-million) – while sparking important conversations around Yousafzai’s chosen topic of gender apartheid in Afghanistan.
