11th Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture: awards entry video 2022
The annual Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture is the seminal event in the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation’s year. The foundation turned the 2021 edition into a birthday celebration of “The Arch’s” legacy of bravery, inclusiveness and willingness to challenge evil head on, but planned something far more powerful than a simple birthday party. The central message was that of The Arch’s life: “Speaking Truth to Power: No Future without Justice”, and that his brave legacy must live on, especially in Africa’s youth.
