The The Origins Centre is a world-class rock art museum and educational facility located on the campus of the University of the Witwatersrand in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

The role of the The Origins Centre is to showcase an extensive rock art collection courtesy of the Rock Art Research Institute, and to educate the public about the history and culture that has influenced artwork in Africa as a whole and South Africa in particular.

Combining cutting-edge technology with the creative vision of some of South Africa’s foremost artists, the museum exhibits take visitors on an extraordinary journey of discovery, which begins with the origins of humankind in Africa, and travels through the development of art, symbolism, and technology on the continent.

Flow Communications designed and developed content for the Origins Centre website, and is responsible for its running, as well as covering related events and producing news stories and visual content.

An additional role soon to be played by is e-marketing of the Origins Shop located at the Centre.
