July 2009 to presentFlow’s relationship with Bakubung Economic Development Unit (BEDU) started on a small scale with Flow producing flyers, but later diversified to include a website, banners and T-shirts.
The website showcases the best of BEDU and the “people of the hippo”. It showcases their education initiatives, water solutions, photo gallery and a news section that is constantly updated with what’s happening in Ledig.
Bakubung Economic Development Unit cultivates the potential of the Bakubung people by providing water delivery solutions, arts and educational programmes, economic upliftment, local governance, safety and healthcare.
Bakubung Economic Development Unit has already provided water solutions for the community of Ledig. Schools in the area have been renovated and the community now has new playing fields and computer laboratories.
