The SA Publication Forum recently awarded the WITSReview a number of awards in its 2008 Corporate Publication competition.
Almost 130 publications, DVDs and electronic newsletters wereentered into the competition, and were then judged in terms of writing,communication, design and photography.
The WITSReview, the University of the Witwatersrand’salumni magazine, came second in the “best external magazine” (lowerbudget) category, and received certificates of merit for excellence incommunication and in writing.
Flow Communications has contributed articles, photography and illustrations to WITSReview since mid-2006, including profiles of prominent South Africans humanrights lawyer George Bizos, singer Johnny Clegg and most recently Nobel Literature laureate Nadine Gordimer. We also often contribute the popular tailpiece article “At Wits’ End”.
