The final is over, the foreign fans have left. But at Flow, the soccer fever lives on. Not to be let down by the end of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, we decided to continue Philip’s football legacy and host a Foosball World Cup tournament – and not just every four years, but monthly.

Lunch hour has officially become a practice session for Flowstars, as staff members prepare to both host and participate in the tournament. The teams have been formed and the hard work has begun, with strict bookings of the foosball table and quick changes in diet to power up for matches.

The rules are simple: each tournament will have eight teams consisting of two staff members each, and a similar elimination structure to that of the World Cup will be applied. The tournament will begin with a group stage, proceed to the semi-finals and lastly, a nail-biting, fingers-crossed final! All teams will be fighting for the much sought-after Flow Foosball Champions title and a small cash prize.

The Flow family is looking forward to tomorrow’s opening whistle of the tournament. Results will be announced on Friday, July 23, 2010. Good luck to all the teams and cheerleaders!

Philip, he is still here!

The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club wont be worth a dime. inspirational quotes
