Flow has done it again! With the recent appointment of six new members of staff, the Flow family has grown once more. We’re happy to welcome chief sub-editor, Aneshree Naidoo, junior project manager, Zintle Mtyeku, office manager, Sebenzile Seletisha, gardener, John Kazembe, web developer, Reatile Tshikalange and media and content developer, Roy Barford.
Aneshree, who holds a Bachelor of Pedagogy in primary education from the University of KwaNatal, has worked as a full-time freelancer, writing and editing for such publications as the Sunday Times, FM Campus, The Weekender and many more.
“I like the variety of work the company produces, as I get to work on a number of different projects. Being a bit ADD, that’s great for me,” says Aneshree.
Zintle holds an IMM marketing diploma from the IMM Graduate School of Marketing. She says the light-hearted, easy-going environment at Flow has made it easy for her to slot in and get on with her work – and apply what she learnt through her studies. “I get to put all the theory I gained from my course into practice and also gain a lot of knowledge from other people who are experienced in my field,” she explains.
Sebenzile says she is impressed by Flow’s client list and would love to work more closely with the company’s clients in the future. She is currently studying a BCom in marketing part-time.
“Working at Flow has been one of the best working experiences I have had … the people are warm, funny, helpful and knowledgeable in their field of work,” says Sebenzile.
John is studying web and graphic design at the Falcon Business Institute. He sees the profession as “a field of creativity and thoughtfulness”.
John enjoys being surrounded by nature and taking care of the environment, a passion that stems from working in his father’s garden when he was still in school.
Reatile Tshikalange is a self-taught IT guru, who enjoys keeping up to date with the latest programming languages. He loves the Flow staff’s passionate attitude, and says he joined the company because of its “family” feeling.
Roy, a BTech graduate from the Durban University of Technology, will be joining Flow’s Cape Town office from March 1 2010, after a stint of a few months in the Jo’burg office. “I am very excited about joining Flow because I believe that online media is the way of the future and I believe Flow is South Africa’s most promising communications company in this regard,” he says.
Welcome to the Flow family!
