Cape Town Tourism is a dual finalist in the 2010 South African Blog Awards with nominations in two categories: Best Travel Blog and Best Company Blog.
The nominations are for travel-related content and blogging by a corporate, small business or non-profit organisation.
Cape Town Tourism represents the Mother City and the daily blogs they produce let everyone know what’s happening in and around Cape Town. The stunning Flickr pick of the day images show off the beauty of Cape Town and a weekly postcard from Paul features various places in Cape Town.
The Cape Town Tourism 2010 World Cup mini-site was a real hit, as it was fun, informative and interactive. Bloggers were doing amazing things like live blogging, which involved a writer posting live updates on the website every few minutes during the bigger matches, while a sub-editor ensured that the copy was error free.
The blog awards bring to the forefront some of the best blogs in South Africa, exposing the talents of both local and international bloggers.
