Cape Town Tourism – the City of Cape Town’s official regional tourism organisation – is proud to launch its media mini-site.

The user-friendly site is designed to help members of the local and international media in the publication of Cape Town-related articles.

It’s home to all kinds of handy resources, so members of the media will have no trouble finding the information they’re after.

The site has a comprehensive list of press releases, a “facts and figures” section, detailed information about Cape Town’s most popular events and a “Cape Town in the news” blog.

High-resolution images of the city are available on the site, along with a map, a list of useful contacts and a selection of related links.

The media site’s 2010 FIFA World Cup section provides all the need-to-know information about South Africa’s upcoming sporting event. Downloadable PDFs about tickets, Cape Town Stadium and 2010 matches are available for members of the media.

The brand-new Cape Town Tourism media site will be an invaluable resource for journalists.
